I am a Stampin' Up Demonstrator. I signed up as a hobbyist for the discount.

Well, I have decided maybe I can do a few things with people since I am more confident.

For the month of November, if you book a workshop, we will create 2 6x6 scrapbook pages and a card.

What a weekend!

I went to the Rubber Stamp and Paper Craft fair and got a few items.

This is my Happy Huladays card. I stamped the bunnies first. I then covered the bunnies and put some snowflakes my sister left in my craft room on the paper. I sponged ink on to the paper and when I pulled the bunnies and snowflakes up, I had a nice mess. This effect is called masking. This card looks sorta tiedye, trippy... It is 5x7 because the bunny stamp is so huge.

Next up is a stain glass. It was a stamp. I stamped the image on 4 x 5.25 in very vanilla card stock. I then colored everything in with stampin up markers. I cut the oval out. I embossed with thick powder 3 times. I then stuck the image in the freezer for about 15 minutes. Finally, after pulling the paper out of the freezer, I cracked it. This is called the Cracked Glass technique.

I saw this neat stamp and wanted to get it without really having an idea for it. For this, I just made it simple. I stamped on a piece of paper about the size of an ATC. I used black stayz on. I then sponged the color. Finally, I had some mulberry paper flowers and a brad.

One of the sellers does a faux postage technique. It is so cool. So, anywho, this is my version. I created a birthday card.

New Shop!

I love making crafts and collecting supplies and materials for making crafts! I have so many fibers and embellishments that I think its time to start destashing and making room for new crafts. I have decided, with the help of my craft-tastic sister Lazy Bone, to opened the That's Craft-Tastic shop on Etsy, where I will sell/destash my craft supplies. We even have some DIY craft kits in the works! We are working on putting some tutorials together to demonstrate some of our craft making and pairing those with the kits. From sock monkeys and artist trading cards to greeting cards and beaded crafts! We love it all and can't wait to share it all with you!

I am also a Stampin' Up Demonstrator, so look for my for my exclusive Stampin' Up tutorials and demonstrations coming soon!

So Excited

I enjoy making cards and stamping images. However with the big name companies even the one I sell for, it is hard to find "ethnic" stamps.
Not being a cookie cutter girl and not being white, I have a hard time relating to these stamps.
I am in the process of getting down and dirty into Lily's scrapbook, but where could I find a baby with slanted eyes...
so, I went to Google and found this website which has cool stamps for all kinds of cultures. I then found this site for Asian themed stamps. I also wanted to find stamps representing Black and Latino kids as well and found this site. I ordered Sarah. I am excited for Sarah to come and create a card to send to Jessica.
I put the Korean Girl and other stamps on my wish list for Christmas.

So, this year, I think I will go for the handmade items for gifts even if I don't actually make them.
Here are a few things I am thinking about getting for Lily.
These baby legs are too cute.

For me, I need the exta spoons.

Can't post what I am getting for Judy and Elizabeth. But I got my dad this clock.
